Argh... I did something stupid. (But when is that new?)
I really.. I hung up on him, and it was not right and it was not nice, and, well, he really was hurt. This is going to haunt me for a bit.

So, spent the weekend up at San Francisco - San jose. Wen t out to Alcatraz and took the entire audio tour in French and understood most of it! Oddly, what I understood best was the directions, like walk down the hallway and turn left type directions. It was hilarious and odd.
Walked about a bit in San Fran. I got the most beautiful pearl necklace. Pinkish tint, which is really unimportant, but it really gleams and it's abnormally large. Had it set in a plain, plain pendant and put on an eighteen inch white gold (which is so bogus, but they didn't have silver) chain. It's absolutely gorgeous - I need something to where it with or an occasion to wear it on now.
Homecoming, yes?
Anywho, we went down to San Jose to check out the Winchester house - in case you don't know, it was designed by the widow of the man who owned the company who created the Winchester rifle. The widow believed that she was being haunted by the spirits of all the people killed by the Winchester rifle. Supposedly, to appease the spirits, she held seances with them and they told her how to build her house.
There are all sorts of wacky stuff - doors that open to a wall, a chimney which stops a foot from the ceiling, windows that open to other rooms, courtyards with no entrance and doors to the cellar, stairs that wrap around a hundred feet to go nine feet up, and at least two doors that open to an 8+ foot fall - one of which is a fall outside the house, one inside.
I napped in the car twice in the past 48 hours. And I usually never nap. But, after falling down the stairs in my house and injuring my ankle, nearly falling down them again the next day, and then nearly falling down concrete stairs, I nearly got the distinction of falling down the stairs in Winchester Mansion.
Can't wait to see the Star Trek movie. A, because of who I'm going with, -.O, and B, because it's STAR TREK!
