Dread...letting my brain drain away. Existing in the nothing which exists between the everything, unable to think but to ponder how I amassed such lassitude, when really I have done nothing. My mind free to obsessDread
over things that will not matter in weeks or days to come, my heart free to constrict and feel heavy, when I cannot think of anything amiss. I can do naught but necessities; I breath, I blink, and I sit, hunched and weary, feeling gravity to be all too superfluous, much too difficult to fight and defy. Unwilling or una

Epitaph of the DarknessEpitaphEpitaph of the Darkness
Here lies the darkness, the wistful, empty sighs, the doubts, self-hate, and sadness, and the dark and angry eyes.
Here weeds will grow, fed on bloated agony, to cover this epitaph with falsely smiling peonies.

I am the Duchess of Evil.
That's all.
So I asked your preference.
I'm all good with the Reaps, man, but he's more of a good symbol for me: a locked artistic image that can easily get across a theme or idea to an audience. If you have something slaying the Grim Reaper, it's easy imagery - conquering death.
